Georgia plant called on us to assist in a month-long training of
almost 200 production operators with our
Personality and the
Team session with Ray Martin and our newest event,
Mission Impossible with Nance Cheifetz. The personality
session helped their new production teams assimilate better by
understanding how each member's unique personality adds value to
the team. The Mission Impossible caper wrapped up each week's
training with a totally unique team adventure, complete with
managers and fellow employees playing characters in the challenge
to solve clues and identify a thief. According to P&G's Tim
Williams, "It was great!" Our sincere thanks go out to all the P&G
operators and "supporting cast" for a wonderful month.

Turnover May Be a Factor in Team Performance
In the article, Chalk It Up to Teamwork: Stable Rosters Are
a Plus in the NBA (Business Week, 3/11/02), researchers
studied the relationship between player turnover in 33 teams of
the National Basketball Association and team performance. Contrary
to the belief that shaking up team rosters creates winning
records, researchers found that teams with low turnover, even if
they initially had poor win-loss records, tended to improve
significantly. In other words, teams that stayed together tended
to play a lot better together. There may be something in this for
business.
