Team Olympia at Lake Placid combines instructional modules on creating and leading high performance teams, with motivational talks by Olympians and hands-on team building using the spectacular sporting facilities from the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Winter games held in Lake Placid, NY.

BUILD A TEAM!
Participants are organized into teams. Facilitated by athletes and coaches, the teams compete together in Olympic events in their own Sports Festival. The sporting activity acts to internalize what it means to be in a team. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals are ceremoniously awarded to further enhance the experience.

Outstanding Achievers from all walks of life bring their experiences to the program in motivational talks that will inspire you to put your new knowledge into practice.

Team Olympia explores the nature of successful organizations in four instructional seminars, which are strategically combined with the experiential components to create a dynamic framework for learning. Each seminar is designed to help your team translate skills learned in competitive team activities and highlight their practical application in your corporate model.

Your team will be housed at the AAA Four Diamond Award winning Mirror Lake Inn. Warm mahogany walls, polished walnut floors, marble and stone fireplaces, antiques, and

Insurance Leaders Embrace a Winter Meeting in Lake Placid
It's easy to go to a balmy climate for your winter management
meeting. Breaking old paradigms, however, was truly on the mind
of Foremost Insurance's Eastern Region Manager Andy Thomas, as
he took his team of 60 to Lake Placid in January. Adding our
session Team Olympia at Lake
Placid, the managers learned leadership and teamwork lessons
firsthand utilizing Lake Placid's excellent facilities. Teams
participated in Olympic style events that captured the spirit of
teamwork in the Olympic tradition. According to Andy Thomas, "I
can's say enough about how well the week went. I received rave
reviews from the meeting participants. A truly memorable event
